This section can be found in Social Media. It is labeled Sharing Selfies and includes a total of twelve apps. Most of these apps are free, but a few like Front Flash and Face Tune which come with a small price.

Gadgets NDTV shared, “The word ‘selfie’ has become commonplace enough that Oxford Dictionaries announced it to be the word of the year for 2013, while it gained worldwide acceptance in 2002. The term ‘selfie’ is defined as “a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and uploaded to a social media website”.The Cupertino company is not the only tech giant that has acknowledged the power of a ‘selfie’. Recently Samsung also tried to establish some connection, when its sponsored ‘Oscars selfie’ clicked quickly went viral on social media, becoming the most-retweeted Twitter post ever.”

Anticipation for Apple iOS 8 continues to grow

In other Apple-related news, there is a lot of anticipation for upcoming iOS 8. Although it is highly unlikely for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) to debut their next iOS system before summer, there are plenty of reports about what we can expect. A few possibilities include speedier system, simplified notification center with ‘Missed’ section removed, removal of Game Center, and introduction of Healthbook. The latter would be a special application that focused on fitness, which would complement the rumored iWatch.
