Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s $37 billion profit in 2013 works out to $71,523 per minute. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) follows with $55,184 in net profit every minute. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) generates $44,220 in those same 60 seconds. Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) comes in fourth with per minute profit of $23,587, followed by Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) with $9,874. E-commerce giant eBay Inc (NASDAQ:EBAY) rakes in $5,515 every 60 seconds, followed by Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) with $2897.

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) earns $1,439 per minute. Interestingly, microblogging company Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) is losing $1,246 every minute. And LinkedIn Corp (NYSE:LNKD) is the slowest earner of them all, with just $52 per minute.
Samsung beats Apple in terms of revenues
But when it comes to revenues, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) is an absolute beast. The Korean company generates $415,132 in revenues per minute. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is not far behind with $330,049. Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) comes third in terms of revenues with $216,162. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is ranked fourth with $150,336 in revenues per minute. Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) generates a revenue of $143,776, followed by Sony Corporation (NYSE:SNE) (TYO:6758) with $128,536.
