This purported device is rumored to work in conjunction with Samsung smartphones. It will also allow users to do things like listen to music and display phone call alerts.

Smart glass is a key trend in technology this year. Google Glass has garnered a lot of excitement and support which is great considering it’s reported to debut sometime later this year. Now other tech companies want to get in on this trend and it appears as if the South Korean tech giant is ready to pave the way. One executive summed up why the glass trend could be huge, “The reason is simple. The market potential for smart glass is huge. Late last year, Samsung filed a patent for smart glass-based device. The patent filing described sports glasses similar to Google Glass. Other details described in the patent include displayed information from a synced smartphone.
