As Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) fans continue to patiently wait for the next great Galaxy smartphone, more rumors and speculations will continue to surface. A recent leak from EvLeaks posted new screenshot on Twitter and were “proof” that Samsung is exploring a new user interface.
Galaxy S4 predictions
International Business Times UK explained, “Although undeniably a good phone, when the Galaxy S4 launched it was criticised for being very similar to the S3 from a year earlier – little had changed in terms of hardware and software design; it would also make sense for Samsung to debut a new user interface on its most popular model first, before adding it to the rest of the Galaxy range. The leaked screenshots appear to show an interface similar to the HTC One’s BlinkFeed screen of news headlines and social media update; the images also show what appears to be a bicycle ride taken by the user, complete with heart rate. We image this will be collected by a second-generation Galaxy Gear smartwatch, or compatible fitness wristband.”
The future of Samsung’s smartwatches
There is more information about Samsung’s smartwatches of the future. Dennis Miloseski (lead for Samsung Design America) told Recode’s Ina Fried that Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) will have more wearable devices in 2014. He added there would be a mix of devices, some of which won’t need a smartphone to operate. He didn’t give too many details beyond that. Rumors speculate the Galaxy S5 would launch in March before the official release sometime in April or May.
Rumors for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 are much less common. One of the few rumors regarding this device include a possible three-sided display. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) usually debuts the Galaxy Note phones in the latter half of the year, so fans will likely have to wait longer for this phone.
