Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo Goes Official, Gets Listed Online

Updated on

Samsung has quietly launched the Galaxy Grand Neo, yet another variant of its Galaxy Grand smartphone. Strangely though, the smartphone was quietly launched by Samsung on its official website, but didn’t get a mention in Samsung’s blog.

The Galaxy Grand Neo was first spotted on a Dutch retailer’s website, and was even available for sale with a price tag of €260 (about $355 and Rs. 22,000). This new phablet smartphone can be placed right between the older Galaxy Grand and the newly launched Galaxy Grand 2.

Galaxy Grand Neo Specs

Coming to the specs of the Galaxy Grand Neo, it features a 5-inch WXGA display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a Quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and in a typical Samsung fashion, it will be featuring TouchWiz UI.

It sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, auto focus, and VGA front camera. Some other features are 16GB of storage, MicroSD support up to 64GB, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, Assisted GPS and a 2,100mAh battery.

No details on availability, and more

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo is now listed on Samsung’s website, but it doesn’t have any details on pricing, nor any details on in which countries will it be launched. So far, the device is only listed on the Dutch online retail store. Hopefully, the smartphone will soon be available in other markets across the globe.
