Laura eyes Netflix
When Laura is not making recommendations about Pandora Media Inc (NYSE:P), Laura has her sights set on Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX). Laura’s most recent BUY NFLX recommendation was based on that fact that “Margins hit guidance, up 400% year-over-year, even after an extra $27 million of extra amortization costs, suggesting margin expansion is ahead of schedule.” With this recommendation, Laura ended up with a +12.9% return over the S&P-500.
Laura has earned her spot as a top analyst even with a few bumps along the way. Laura strayed from her strong stocks of Pandora and Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) and recommended BUY Trip Advisor (TRIP). However, it did not work out as she had hoped. She ended up losing -3.6% but she was able to redeem herself when she recommended BUY TRIP again noting that, “TRIP management is making progress in growing and monetizing mobile usage…TRIP is experiencing solid growth among its hotel shoppers, and…increasing momentum in the international space.” This recommendation left her with +7.1%.
