The stock dropped to $43.65 (-16.98%) as a result of missed earnings projections. With 441,000 shares, TDC represents 0.24% of George Soros’ portfolio. The billionaire bought 76,000 shares in December 2012 and acquired the rest of his position last quarter. He paid an average per-share price of $63.53.
The second company with a major loss today is Caesars Entertainment Corp (NASDAQ:CZR), which dipped -10.67% and is now trading at $20.00. The entertainment company is part of many billionaires’ funds. John Paulson holds 12.02 million CZR shares, representing 1.16% of his portfolio. Despite today’s drop, the billionaire has gained +55.34% in this position, having paid an average price of $12.88. George Soros has CZR stakes as well. The investor holds 5.9 million shares, corresponding to 0.89% of his holdings, and paid an average of $8.45 per share. Leon Cooperman owns 1.1 million shares (0.25% of his fund), bought at $14.60.
