iPhone 5S Users Are Facing Blue Screen Of Death Issue

PC users have always faced that annoying Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). Whenever such a screen appears, it mostly relates to a hardware fault, but the most difficult part is that troubleshooting this problem is not always that easy. Windows users are used to such BSODs, but do BSODs happen in Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) products? Well, we never thought about that, until now.

iPhone 5S blue screen of death

Now the same problem seems to appear in Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s very own flagship phone, the iPhone 5S. Few iPhone 5S users have reported that they are facing a similar problem of the Blue Screen of Death. The issue is limited to some devices, but still a BSOD in Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s product seems to be pretty strange.

This issue with the iPhone 5S is not the result of any hardware failure, but it appears when Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s very own iWork app is launched. Some other users have also reported Blue Screen of Death at random times, for example, when multitasking or doing some other stuff at once. The end result of this screen is that the device reboots.

Apple iOS 7.0.2 update

A few days back, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has released iOS 7.0.2 to fix lock-screen security bugs, but it doesn’t address this reboot issue. Users are reporting the issue on Apple’s support forums, and also on Twitter expressing their concern on this. Who knew that a brand new, sparkling and flagship device would face such an issue? But perhaps a quick update from Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) can fix this soon.

For those who are experiencing this issue with iCloud, one workaround would be to disable iCloud syncing for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s Pages, Keynote, and Numbers apps. For now, you can try out this solution until Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) releases any official statement or a fix for this annoying problem.
