Timeline of The US Govt Response to Financial Crisis

A presentation just released by the U.S. Department of the Treasury looks back at the financial crisis, 5 years later. Various economic data is included, but the most interesting slide is the overview of what the government’s response has been.

The below list of government actions over the last 5 years show which aspects of the economy each program was intended to support. In some form, consumers and the financial markets were the intended beneficiaries of every action the government has taken.
