Apple has promised last week that a fix was in progress

This update fixes two of the most serious security issues on iOS 7: one that allows access to iOS device’s Photos, and another that allowed anyone to place a call from the Emergency call screen. Both the security issues were fixed with the iOS 7.0.2 update.

Apple has promised last week that a fix was in progress, but the Cupertino company, in its typical way, hasn’t promised when it would arrive.

Apple also brings back the capability to use a Greek keyboard

Apart from the security fix, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) also brings back the capability to use a Greek keyboard when typing in passcodes. This functionality was missing until now, but not anymore.

This 7.0.2 update is available to all devices that support iOS 7. So if you’re concerned about security, and don’t want anyone to misuse your iOS device, then go ahead and update it now.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), with its new flagship phone, the iPhone 5S, has introduced Touch ID, the company’s new fingerprint scanning technology that is integrated in the home button. According to Apple, this technology is more secure compared to the passcode method.
