Apple Inc. (AAPL) iPhone Camera Slammed By Nokia – Again

Updated on

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is again the target of an add from Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) (BIT:NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V). In June the Lumia maker compared iPhone users to zombies, and this time, the company provides a more complete “picture” of why the Lumia’s cameras are better than the one found on the iPhone.

Apple Inc. (AAPL) iPhone Camera Slammed By Nokia - Again

Nokia’s ad begins with Apple

When the ad first starts to play, it sounds like one of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s own ads.

“Every day, more photos are taken on the iPhone than on any other phone,” the ad states.

In fact, the style of the ad is the same style used by Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) to advertise its camera. The “Photos Every Day” ad started running in April, according to MacRumors. Then it turns attention to from Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) (BIT:NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V) and says that they prefer to build toward quality rather than just quantity. A series of image comparisons showcase the better quality offered by Nokia’s cameras.

What will Apple do next?

Rumors about Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s next iPhone have been running wild lately, and it seems as if one of the things fans want out of it is a better camera. The company is expected to deliver, but will that “better camera” be better than those found in Nokia’s devices? The Finnish handset maker just launched the Lumia 1020, which has the best camera found on any smartphone.

While some mock Nokia for putting so much stock in smartphone cameras, it’s clear that Apple fans want the company to do better in this department. The only question that must be answered is whether a fancy camera like the one on the Lumia 1020 will be enough to lure Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) fans away.

Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) (BIT:NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V) is very slowly starting to grab some market share, but it still has a long way to go before it will threaten big boy Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL).
