InfuSystem Holdings Inc (NYSE:INFU) presents an interesting opportunity, whereby an activist (Ryan Morris of Meson Capital Partners) who was successful in enacting change at the company now plans to take the company private and, due to a tactical error on his part, is forced to publicly negotiate the purchase price. The tactical error I refer to is that Morris failed to use his role as Executive Chairman of the Board to negotiate the price privately and then jointly announce an agreed upon deal.
