Hank Greenberg Wants Paulson, Geithner to Testify in AIG Suit [REPORT]

Excerpts from the report are below.

On whether Hank Greenberg is looking to take the testimony of former Treasury Secretaries Hank Paulson and Timothy Geithner:

“Hank is suing American International Group Inc (NYSE:AIG) and the government saying the American International Group Inc (NYSE:AIG) bailout in 2008 was illegal and he’s got the courts listening. Here’s what we know today – Ben Bernanke, he can take testimony from him… What I hear from Hank’s people is that he is not stopping there. He wants to take the testimony of Hank Paulson the former Treasury Secretary and Tim Geithner who was then the head of the New York Fed. All three of those – Bernanke, Paulson, Geithner were sort of the main players in the bailout of 2008, so he isn’t stopping here.”
