General Motors Company (GM)

Analysts are expecting General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) to report second quarter earnings of between 76 and 78 cents on revenue of approximately $38.2 billion. Full-year earnings are expected to be between $3.32 and $3.37 per share on full-year revenue of $156 billion.

In four of the last five earnings periods, General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) surprised to the positive. Research from Zacks indicates that analyst expectations have risen by a penny in the last 30 days but fallen 3 cents in the last 90 days.

Goldcorp Inc. (GG)

Shares of Goldcorp Inc. (NYSE:GG) rose as much as 2 percent at the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday ahead of the company’s report. Consensus estimates for the company indicate that it will likely report earnings per share of 28 cents for the current quarter.

The company posted a significant disappointment in the last quarter.

Hershey Co (HSY)

Analysts are expecting Hershey Co (NYSE:HSY) to report 71 cents per share in earnings on $1.5 billion in revenue for the second quarter of the year. Full-year earnings are expected to be $3.65 per share on full-year revenue of $7.1 billion.

Hershey Co (NYSE:HSY) has been fairly consistent with its earnings over the last five quarters. According to Zacks, analysts haven’t changed their estimates for the company much in the last 60 days.

International Paper Company (IP)

Consensus estimates for International Paper Company (NYSE:IP) indicate an earnings range of between 55 cents and 64 cents per share. Full-year revenue is expected to be between $3.50 and $3.52 per share on full-year revenue of $29.6 billion.

The company’s last five quarters have been a mix of positive, negative and in-line results. Analysts reporting to Zacks have gradually lowered their expectations for the company’s second quarter. Ninety days ago, they were estimating 87 cents per share for International Paper Company (NYSE:IP). That dropped to 66 cents at the 60-day mark, 58 cents a week ago and 55 cents now.

L-3 Communications Holdings, Inc. (LLL)

Analysts are expecting L-3 Communications Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:LLL) to report second quarter earnings of $1.92 to $1.93 per share on revenue of revenue of between $3.05 billion and $3.2 billion. Full-year earnings per share are expected to be between $8.10 and $8.16 per share on full-year revenue of $12.5 billion.

The company has posted small positive surprises in each of the last five quarters. Analyst estimates have remained stable over the last 60 days.
