The consensus estimate is for earnings of 35 cents per share, down 8% from a year ago when it posted earnings of 38 cents per share. Revenue is projected to fall 3% year-over-year to $35.58 billion for the period. For the full-year, earnings are expected to come in at $1.65 per share, on revenue of $147.34 billion. Interestingly, the first quarter saw a drop in revenue after three straight quarters of rising sales. General Electric is in the midst of a restructuring, and is shedding divisions such as NBC Universal and shrinking its banking business.

Honeywell International Inc. (NYSE:HON)

The diversified technology company will announce its quarterly results on Friday, and analysts expect higher profit. The consensus estimate is for profit of $1.22 a share, up from $1.14 per share in the year-ago period. Over the last three months, the average earnings estimate has fallen from a profit of $1.26 per share. Revenue will likely be $9 billion, 3% higher than the $9 billion posted in the same period last year. Year-over-year revenue fell in the first quarter, snapping the three-quarter streak of growth. For the fiscal year, analysts have forecast earnings of $4.95 per share, on revenue of $39 billion.

Ingersoll-Rand PLC (NYSE:IR)

Ingersoll-Rand PLC (NYSE:IR) will issue its second quarter earnings report before markets open on Friday, July 19. Analysts are projecting earnings of $1.08 per share on revenue of $3.88 billion. In the year-go period, the company posted a profit of $1.15 per share, while revenue stood at $3.82 billion. For the year, analysts have forecast earnings of $3.57 per share, while revenue is expected to come in at $14.40 billion. The company has a market capitalization of $17.563 billion, and its stock has a one year high of $59.58, and a low of $39.21.

Manpowergroup Inc (NYSE:MAN)

Manpowergroup Inc (NYSE:MAN) is set to report its Q2 2013 earnings results before the start of trading on Friday, July 19.
