As we’ve informed earlier, Twitter has launched Vine app for Android on Monday. However, you need to be on Android 4.0 and above to run this app. The app is still missing many features that are offered in the iOS app, but Twitter has promised that the Android version will soon have all those features.
One of the notable feature that’s offered in Vine for Android is the ability to zoom in when recording a video. However, what’s not clear is how to use this feature, and the folks over at Twitter have also not explained anything about this.
Normally, we would pinch-to-zoom, or double tap, but unfortunately, those methods don’t work. No matter how hard you try, it won’t work.
To zoom in when recording the video, you simply need to use your device’s volume buttons – the up and down keys. For sure this is not a convenient method, but strangely, this is the only method that works.
We hope in future Vine allows users to zoom using the pinch method.
