iPhone 6 With Bigger Screen:

The Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 5S has yet to be announced but there are already rumors and predictions for the iPhone 6. Citi Research analyst Glen Yeung predicts the iPhone 6 will feature a larger screen that measures 4.8 inches, which would only make only a bit smaller than the Samsung Galaxy S4 which measures 5 inches.

iPhone 6 To Come With 4.8-inch Screen [REPORT]

iPhone 6 or iPhone 5S Release:

As for the highly-anticipated iPhone 5S, it has been delayed by at least two weeks. Although he isn’t saying it won’t arrive in September, Yeung is saying,  “volumes in September may consequently be challenged”.

iPad Mini Release:

Yeung also claimed the iPad Mini will arrive soon and it will come in two flavors, one pricedlower to compete directly with budget tablets such as the Nexus 7. The other iPad will feature a 2,048×1,536-pixel Retina Display. The next full size iPad will be even lighter and slimmer than the current model.

Previously, Citi Research claimed, “Whereas we had been expecting a new iPad 5, iPad Mini 2, and iPad Mini Retina in 2H13 [the second half of 2013], we now believe that iPad Mini Retina has been delayed until late C4Q13 [calendar fourth quarter] or C1Q14. This puts the emphasis on the reduced-price iPad Mini 2 (we expect this to be priced at $230-$250 versus $329 for the current iPad Mini), ostensibly to better compete with the plethora of low-priced competing tablets, but creating some risk to 2H13 iPad revenue estimates in the process.”

iPad 5:

Citi Research also talked about the iPad, “We continue to expect iPad 5 to sport characteristics similar to iPad Mini (slimmer, lighter), although the prospect of a higher-end solution (like the MS Surface Pro) seems unlikely given discussions with Intel have not resulted in an Intel design win at 22nm. We note that 3Q13 is expected to be the last quarter of iPad 2 and iPad 4 production.”

It’s also predicted that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will soon introduce the iPhone Mini sometime this year.
