Marc Faber, editor of Gloom, Boom & Doom Report spoke with FOX Business Network (FBN) about his concerns surrounding the recent stock market highs. Marc Faber said, “I love it because we are just climbing to a higher diving board” which gives us a higher probability of a crash. Faber went on to say that due to the record highs “I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 30-40 percent decline from the peak.”

On the markets achieving record highs:
“I love it because we are just climbing to a higher diving board…if we don’t get the correction in February or March and we go straight up like in ’87, the probability of a crash increases.”
On whether he thinks the markets will drop 20 percent from its peak:
“Well rather more – depends how high we go, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 30-40 percent decline from the peak.”
