The report from the site says the system is buggy and incomplete. The Chat Heads also don’t work.

The good news is that some of the other Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) features work. As proof, the website also published images of the phone in action. For those who don’t want to wait, MaDoCo is offering the pre-release software for download on their website.

The only requirements a phone needs to run this software include a maximum resolution requirement 1,280 x 768. They also have to uninstall the current Facebook mobile app because Home won’t be installed on top of the original program.

Just last week, Facebook introduced Facebook Home, a new platform that offers a suite of applications to give the user a total Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) experience on their smartphone. Facebook Home will official launch on April 12th. It will initially be available on just five Android devices at first including the Nexus 4 phone and the Nexus 7 tablet.  It’s not available for Apple’s iPhone or iPad just yet.

Since this software is in beta mode, it won’t provide the most stable user experience. For those who don’t mind trying out new software programs in beta mode, this is something they may want to try.

For awhile now, there has been numerous rumors regarding a Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) smartphone.  While this is not exactly a real Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) phone, it’s a pretty close experience. For avid social media users, this might enhance their overall Android experience and perhaps turn revolutionize the future of smartphones.

It’s a smart move to test the waters before launching a smartphone, which may or may not happen. It should be interesting to see how tech consumers react to the new “phone”.
