possible.”

On whether the rumors he’ll move to IRS commissioner are true:
“No, no, I don’t think so.  But it’s been a great honor to serve this president and at this time.  And what I’ve said to the president, what I’ve said to Jack Lew is that I’ll stay on for an appropriate period and for that period, at least, I’ll be very, very focused on making sure that the Treasury is working and is running as best as possible.”

On the top priority for the Treasury:
“Well, you know, the president laid out in the State of the Union address a plan for growing our economy and creating jobs, including the middle class.  I think the administration, including importantly the Treasury, is hugely focused on that set of imperatives, to try to make sure that our economy continues to grow and that we pick up the pace of that, of course, all within the fiscal framework that the president has laid out.  And I think that for Jack Lew, the incoming Secretary of the Treasury, for all of us at the Treasury, that is priority number one.”
