Use Kies Air To Manage Your Samsung Mobile Devices Wirelessly

Updated on

Samsung devices can be managed using the Samsung Kies desktop software, which needs to be installed on the computer. A USB cable is used to connect the mobile device with the computer. While this method works great, there’s one more easy way to manage your Samsung device wirelessly with Kies Air. The best part of using Kies Air is that you don’t need to use any cables. Let’s take a closer look at how this can be done.

Kies Air is an Android app that allows users to connect any Samsung smartphone or tablet from any device with a web browser, the only requirement is that both devices should be on the same WiFi network.

To get started, simply follow below steps:

Step 1: Install the Kies Air application on your Samsung mobile device. Some devices like Note 2, already have Kies Air preinstalled.

Step 2: Now, connect your Samsung mobile device to the same access point (WiFi router) as of your PC, laptop or other device that you want to manage with.

Step 3: Open Kies Air on the mobile device and then tap on Start.

Step 4: Kies Air will display a URL. Enter the same full URL into your web browser from where you want to manage your mobile device.

Step 5: Kies Air will display a 4-digit PIN on the mobile device. When prompted, enter the same PIN to your web browser and then you will be logged-in.

The PC, laptop, or any other mobile device is now connected and you start accessing the content of your mobile device. You will be able to see management options like videos, photos, ringtones, call logs, contacts, file explorer and more.

Use this method and save yourself from cable clutter. Try it out.
