Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 will be available in different retail stores and telecommunications carriers in France and the United Kingdom as well as in other countries this week, according to the announcement of the company on Monday.
According to the company, the Lumia 920 & Lumia 820 will be available in Germany, Russia, and different markets worldwide in November.
Nokia’s Corporation (NYSE:NOK) new smartphones are expected to hit the shelves of retailers in the United States sometime this November. AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) previously confirmed that it will carry the Lumia 920 & Lumia 820 along with other Windows & smartphones. The Nokia Lumia 920 will be offered to consumers exclusively by AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T).
On the other hand, Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) agreed to sell the Nokia Lumia 822 while T-Mobile USA agreed to market the Nokia Lumia 810. The Finnish company confirmed that the three smartphone models will be available in stores next month.
Jo Harlow, executive vice president of Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) Smart Devices said, “After seeing the enthusiastic response to the incredible innovation in the Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820, we’re eager for people to start experiencing the phones for themselves.”
In addition, Harlow stated, “We are focusing our efforts on working with partners who recognize the value of that innovation, and who are committed to helping Lumia, and the Windows Phone platform breakthrough in key markets around the world.”
