On first look it does looks like the netbooks, but it has some powerful specs under the hood. It is thinner, lighter, and comes with 11.6-inch display, 2GB of RAM, Samsung Exynos 5 Dual-core Processor, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, VGA camera, HDMI port and Bluetooth 3.0. Talking about the storage, then this Chromebook comes with only 16GB solid state storage space, and as we know, Chromebooks are cloud centric and don’t comes with large storage space. Users cannot pack in their entire music and videos collection on this space. But the good thing, is that this Chromebook offers two years of 100GB of cloud storage on Google Drive for free.

Since there is no cellular connectivity, the user will need to be connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot, in order to connect to the cloud and access data. For just $249, this new model seems to be impressive and it offers the best bang for the buck.

You can preorder this Samsung Chromebook right now or they will be available Monday, if you want to check it out from your local retailer.
