If you have updated your device to Apple’s latest mobile operating system – the iOS 6, then you must be wondering where has the reliable Google Maps app gone. Open Safari and browse to Google Maps. Navigate to the location of your choice and wait for it to finish loading the page. Once you open the location, tap on the small arrow button from the Safari toolbar, which will open more options.

Tap on Add to Home Screen, and then type a name for the icon, which will instantly add an icon to your home screen. Safari will create a shortcut to Google Maps on your home screen, so that you can easily and quickly open the Google Maps.
