We’ve now entered to the final quarter of this year which means that we can start expecting new product releases from Apple. This would be the perfect time of the year to launch new and upgraded products, so that the company can take advantage of the holidays and turn that season into an earning season.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) can be gearing up to launch a total of 8 new products for sale on this holiday season, including the next generation of iPhone, smaller iPad, updated iPods and Macs.

According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Cuptertino Company’s new product launch is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2012, and the most anxiously awaited device being the iPhone 5 will be be unveiled at a media event on Sept. 12.

Apart from the iPhone, we can also expect to see the unveiling of a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, a new iPod touch, and a new 21.5-inch iMac.

According to Kuo, in October, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) can hold a second media event which will unveil a smaller iPad with a 7.85-inch display. Plus, we can also expect a new iPod nano, a “modified new iPad,” and a new 27-inch iMac.

Kuo said that these same products were intended for release in the second quarter or early in the third quarter but due to some production problems, these products were delayed.

For the new iPhone, the main issue has been with the assembly of the device and not with the lack of in-cell touch panels. According to reports, Apple is going to utilize in-cell touch panels in the next generation of iPhone.

For the iPad Mini, it can be said that there are production issues with “very thin panel module” which is used in the device.

The new iPod touch and iPod nano are also expected to feature the new panel technology, and these devices can also come with a brand new design.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro which will come with Retina display will feature a new design and it will be priced between $1,100 and $1,300.

The new iPad’s refresh will look mostly identical to the current year and the only noticeable change will be the new 9-pin dock connector.

For now, the world is eagerly waiting for the September 12th event, which is the unofficial date of the media event where Apple can unveil the iPhone 5. We’ll keep you updated if Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) officially announces the date of the media event.
