Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s CEO, Tim Cook, took the stage today at the year’s most sought after event today. Cook said that 7 million users have downloaded the OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion since its launch in late July, of which three million were downloaded within just four days of its launch. Cook didn’t reveal the number of copies sold through retail stores, but that must be impressive. He added that Macbooks have become the top selling notebook PCs in the U.S. market, within just three months with 27 percent market share.
