Alibaba Now Selling iPhone 5 Cases
Alibaba Now Selling iPhone 5 Cases Limited (HKG:1688) is the leading e-commerce website in China, and now it looks like they have some clues to what the iPhone 5 may look like. The website recently shared images and postings of purported protective cases for the iPhone 5.  The sixth generation Apple smartphone has not yet been confirmed, and neither have any of their rumors.

Sadly, this report doesn’t really give us any insight, except for the fact that many stores are stocking up on iPhone 5 accessories in anticipation. This doesn’t tell us anything new.

The iPhone 5 will either be a hit or miss for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) this year. The rumors we’ve heard so far include a slightly longer iPhone, 4G LTE capability, and a smaller dock connector. So far, the rumors we’ve been hearing are essentially repeats of the same rumor. Moreover, the rumors are short of impressive. This is probably because Apple is good at keeping most of their product information confidential, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the rumors we’ve been hearing are true.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has a lot riding on their back this year, and I’m sure they’re feeling the heat. Although I doubt they have anything to worry about for now, I think that they need to seriously start thinking about the future, because it’s going to take a lot more than preventing Samsung from selling competitive phones in the market. It’s going to take innovation and creative marketing strategies to stay on top. I know they can do it, because they’ve proved it before. Let’s just hope that Apple makes it their mission to follow up with a smart plan.
