Hoax around the internet are very common, that’s the way scammers and spammers try to get people’s money or just like to get attention.
What’s a hoax? Well is an intentionally fabricated falsehood that is presented as truth. It can go from rumors, errors in observation or judgment, urban legends, etc.
A few weeks ago a scam was circulating Facebook and Twitter, about how you could get a free iPad 3. At the time the latest iPad wasn’t even announced by Apple.
This time a hoax is being pushed on Facebook. Users are posting on their walls a warning and ask others to post it too, this warning says that hackers are entering accounts and publishing stuff on their walls, pornography links and insults that the owner of the account can’t see but the friends can.
There are different versions of the hoax:
