Apple Inc. Responds To The New iPad Heat Issues

Plenty of news reports have been circulating on web in past few days stating that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) newly launched 3rd generation iPad generates more heat (around five degrees Celsius) than its predecessor – iPad 2. However, Apple Inc. after hearing of the recent complaints, has responded to the heating issue. One of the company’s representative Trudy Muller stated the following:

“The new iPad delivers a stunning Retina display, A5X chip, support for 4G LTE plus 10 hours of battery life, all while operating well within our thermal specifications. If customers have any concerns they should contact AppleCare.”

The issue began when people like ‘rawwave’ started voicing concerns regarding over heating of the new iPad:

“My new iPad (verizon 64GB) definitely got significantly warm, almost too warm to hold,” he wrote on the official Apple discussions page.
