Craig Effron and Curtis Schenker, co-founders of Scoggin Capital Management LP, talk about their partnership and the hedge fund’s investment strategy. They speak with Adam Johnson on Bloomberg Television’s “Street Smart.”

Scoggin, which now has $1.8b aum,  had ONE down year in the past 25 years (2008).

They would rather miss opportunities than take risk.

They are short Brazil, Hungary, Italy, China, Japan and other countries.

They think underfunded pensions is next front page news.

The managers are friends with Paul Tudor Jones.
