On Tuesday afternoon, Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) unveiled Xbox One, their third generation game console. The company also just announced that the new console/entertainment system will also come with the next generation of Kinect, which will be used to turn on the entire unit as well as switch between games, internet browsing, and similar activites. All a user has to say is, “Xbox on” to power up the new console. And that’s not all, the Kinect system will automatically recognize the user and sign them in—all part of the hands-free experience. If you want to get to a certain feature, simply say “go to(feature)” to get to that feature. Alternatively, you could also move your hands to make particular gestures as the camera watches and grab items on the screen and moves them side by side.
