Hosho Group, a global leader in blockchain security, announces its inaugural blockchain security event, HoshoCon, to be held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, October 9 through 11, 2018. The first-of-its-kind conference will focus on a range of curated topics related to blockchain security as well as key topics related to security, including regulation and subsequent legal implications as well as institutional and custodial issues. HoshoCon will bring together prominent cybersecurity leaders for three days of discussions and exhibitions on the emerging technologies aimed at preventing hacking and damaging breaches in the blockchain community.

Hosho continues to set the standard for cybersecurity within the blockchain industry, and HoshoCon aims to expand that effort by bringing together the industry’s leading security professionals, technologists, lawyers, and developers who are creating the next generation of technology and applications in blockchain security. In addition to keynote speakers and presentations by industry-leading experts, HoshoCon will have a 25,000 sq. ft. exhibition space, and a dedicated developer-focused track including panels and workshops. The conference will also have a hackathon facilitated by multiple winners and organizers of elite DEF CON competitions, as well as a mentorship program aimed at connecting mentors and attendees for one-on-one sessions, all followed by nightly entertainment.
