With iOS 11.2.5 beta 5 recently released, Apple has posted official release notes as well as changelog details.
iOS 11.2.5 beta 5
As mentioned above, iOS 11.2.5 beta 5 released for developers earlier today. This update doesn’t appear to include any huge changes, and the iOS 11.2.5 beta 5 release notes and changelog details seem to mainly indicate bug fixes and security patches to make this upcoming release a better experience overall.
It’s expected that iOS 11.2.5 beta 5, and the full version for that matter, will be less fully-featured than 11.2. As a main release, iOS 11.2 contained new static and live wallpapers, fixed a calculator bug that displayed the wrong answer when adding two numbers quickly, added the AirPlay 2 feature on the launch screen, added introductory pricing for auto-renewable subscription, added support for 7.5 fast wireless charging for this most recent generations of phone as well as a number of other features and fixes.
The iOS 11.2.5 beta 5 doesn’t add anything nearly as revolutionary, and we don’t imagine we’ll see a huge update even upon the final release. With that said, the update should make using the iPhone a smoother and more secure experience, which is always worth the time it takes to download the new update.
We’ve included the notes for the iOS 11.2.5 beta 5 release below.
