Complete List Of Jailbreak Tweaks Compatible With iOS 10 to 10.2

Updated on

Italian hacker Luca Todesco along with Marco Grassi has released the Yalu102 iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool. It comes more than a month after Todesco released the Mach_Portal + Yalu jailbreak for the iOS 10-10.1.1. The latest jailbreaking tool is compatible with select 64-bit devices including the iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, iPhone SE, and iPad Pro. There is a lot of excitement in the jailbreak community following the 10.2 jailbreak release.

Cydia Substrate makes many tweaks compatible with iOS 10.2 jailbreak

It will allow users to liberate their iPhones and iPads running iOS 10-10.2. You can download and install a bunch of jailbreak apps, Cydia tweaks, and extensions. But you can’t just go ahead and download any tweaks you want. Not all the packages and tweaks are compatible with the iOS 10.1.1-10.2. The Mach_Portal + Yalu tool for 10.1.1 was made available more than a month ago. So, developers had sufficient time to make their packages compatible with the jailbroken firmware.

Todesco has added support for Cydia Substrate with Yalu102 jailbreak for 10.2. It enables most of the tweaks and packages working with iOS 10.1.1 to be forward compatible with 10.2 without requiring newer updates. But the Yalu102 tool is still a beta jailbreak containing bugs, compatibility issues, and performance issues. It means not all packages are compatible with 10.2.

To help users find compatible tweaks with iOS 10-10.2, the jailbreak community has put together a crowdsourced list of tweaks, apps, and packages with their compatibility status. You can see which packages are fully compatible with the jailbroken firmware, which ones are only partially compatible, and which ones don’t work with the jailbroken iOS 10-10.2.

The list in Google Docs is being continuously updated. So, refer to it often to see if new tweaks have been added to the compatibility list. Also, don’t forget to refer to the list before installing a tweak to avoid major issues later. Tweaks like App Admin, AlwaysFirstSwipe, and Cuttlefish are fully compatible. Others like 3DAppLock and Always Forward watchOS are only partially compatible.

CustomCover, DataMeter, MyWi, and OneHandWizard are not yet compatible. There are many other tweaks such as OpenOnSearch, NoSub, and FullForce whose status is unknown. Here’s the complete list of tweaks:
