Famous hedge fund short seller who was one of the first to call the Valeant fiasco… Jim Chanos said at the event that Tesla has put itself “under the red line” by the proposed merger with SolarCit and he is still bearish on internet giant Alibaba.

Bill Miller and Impala Asset Management founder Robert Bishop also announced their top ideas. Bill Miller’s favorite idea? go Long S&P 500, Short 10-Year treasury

Former Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner said: “We’re in a world where bad things happen.”   On stage with him, Ray Dalio, founder of Bridgewater Associates, the largest hedge fund in the world added that the world he’s seeing today looks like the late 1930s.
