Galaxy Note 7 Injustice Edition To Sport 6GB RAM

Updated on

Samsung may soon launch a Batman-themed Galaxy Note 7 Injustice Edition, according to leaked images on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. The leaked images reveal a special theme based on the Injustice: Gods Among Us game. The Injustice Edition Note 7 has golden accents around the home button and the camera. You can also see a gold Batman logo on the back.

Will it be exclusive to China?

It remains to be seen when the Note 7 Injustice Edition will arrive, and whether it will be launched in a few select markets or worldwide. Besides the visual changes, the phablet will get some major under-the-hood improvements. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Note 7 Injustice Edition would pack 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. By comparison, the standard Note 7 features 4GB RAM and 64GB of built-in storage.

Samsung recently confirmed that it would launch a special version of the Note 7 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage in China. Pre-orders for that variant are expected to begin on August 26. However, if Samsung chooses to make the Injustice Edition available worldwide, the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration won’t be exclusive to China. The Note 7 Injustice Edition is said to be available in black color.

Galaxy Note 7 Injustice Edition to support dual-SIM

In terms of price, don’t expect the Injustice Edition Note 7 to be cheaper than the regular version. The Injustice Edition of the Galaxy S7 Edge that was launched earlier this year was priced at 1.199 million won ($1035). Since the regular Note 7 is more expensive than the S7 Edge, the price difference should remain in the Injustice Editions as well. So, if you are a Batman fan and want the Note 7 Injustice Edition, be ready to pay a hefty amount.

The Galaxy Note 7 Injustice Edition is also expected to offer dual-SIM support. Samsung has received humongous pre-orders for its latest flagship phablet. The company had to delay the release of Note 7 in many countries due to higher than expected orders.
