Last week Rockstar, the creators of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) franchise announced that the newest expansion for the online game was coming soon. It’s to be called ‘Further Adventures in Finance and Felony’, and a new trailer released gives the public a little taste of what to expect.
GTA: Further Adventures in Finance and Felony
The latest installment of the hugely popular game, according to the trailer, sees gamers attempt to build their criminal empire. Behind the usual flashing scenes of cool cars, shoot outs and police chases, we get a continuation of the previous editions theme, ‘Executives and Other Criminals’, sticking with the corporate criminal aspect rather than the old tradition of street hood cum gang leader.
Captions on the trailer include ‘Become a corporate leader, Become a CEO’ seem to suggest a more law abiding gaming experience, along with ‘open prestigious new offices’ and even ‘hire an executive assistant’. But fear not, this was always a game for those with dreams of underworld infamy, and when you see ‘Traffic illicit cargo and contraband’, ‘disrupt rival supply chains’ with the ultimate goal of being the man to ‘run the town’, you know we are still on familiar footing.
The game has always been known for the great cars and this version sees the addition of the Pegasus Reaper, a supercar that looks like a Lamborghini, along with the usual wide array of vehicles that can be commandeered from unsuspecting members of the public. ‘Acquire extravagant new vehicles’ is written on the trailer, over flashing images in the background of private jets, limousines armed to the back teeth and luxury yachts. Petrol heads rejoice.

Speaking of the latest update, Rockstar said this is “one of GTA Online‘s biggest and deepest updates yet,” so we can hope for a lot more features than could be fit into the minute long video.
“Further Adventures in Finance and Felony” will be released on June 7th.
Grand Theft Auto Online is an open world, multiplayer game, first released in October 2013, and was developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It is available on multiple platforms including PlayStation, Xbox and Windows.
