FOX Business Network’s (FBN) Charlie Gasparino reports “the board of Viacom which supports [Viacom CEO] Philippe Dauman is basically preparing for a major legal battle” against Vice Chair, and Sumner Redstone’s daughter, Shari Redstone.
On the Viacom Board possibly preparing a lawsuit against Vice Chair Shari Redstone in support of CEO Philippe Dauman:
“What sources are telling the FOX Business Network is that the board of Viacom which supports Philippe Dauman is basically preparing for a major legal battle if that’s the case to support him. They are planning to file suit from what I understand, file a lawsuit. They actually have the lawsuit drawn up. They just have to file it if she makes her move. They are preparing a major lawsuit that prevents her, they would describe as an illegal attempt to remove the CEO of a company above the boards wishes.”
