At least two people have been killed and one seriously injured after a shooting broke out near a school in the French city of Grenoble, local media report.

The incident took place near Jean Racine school in Teisseire district of the city in the morning, France Bleau newspaper reported.

The first victim, a man, died at the scene, and the second succumbed to his injuries later, according to RFI radio reported.
