Trump Edges Out Clinton As Candidate Seen As Best For The Pocketbooks Of Affluent Investors If Elected President by Millionaire Corner
Donald Trump holds a slight edge over Hillary Clinton in a recent poll of affluent investors about which candidate, if elected President, would be most beneficial to the pocketbooks of high net worth households.
Trump Edges Out Clinton
In the survey, conducted as part of Spectrem’s Millionaire Corner March Investor Pulse, Trump was cited by 24 percent of respondents and Clinton 22 percent, with the closest other contender being John Kasich with 14 percent.
It’s clear from the report that Democrat investors are much more bullish on Hillary Clinton as the candidate, if elected President, who would be most beneficial to their pocketbook than Republicans are of Trump. Sixty-one percent of Democrats say Clinton will be beneficial to them versus just 34 percent of Republicans indicating the same for Trump.
