Walmart Stores said People who haven’t purchased all the items on their Christmas shopping list has nothing to worry. Walmart stores are open until 8:00 o’clock (local time) on Christmas Eve.
According to the Walmart, for those who prefer online shopping, they can order items until December 20 for standard delivery, and some customers can get free value shipping depending on the item and their location. Customers can order online as late as December 22 for rush deliveries to make sure that they will receive it in time for Christmas.
The retail giant added that customers can place their orders online for store pickups as late as December 23, 6:00 o’clock in the evening.
Walmart participates in National Free Shipping Day
Walmart also announced that it is participating in the National Free Shipping Day and will eliminate the $50 minimum purchase for free shipping on Friday.
Based on the company’s internal research, almost 80% of shoppers are not yet finished shopping with their holiday shopping. Walmart wants to help customers complete their shopping list by offering price rollbacks on some of the most sought after toys, electronics, and holiday food such as Patti Labelle’s Sweet Potato Pie.
Searches for Star Wars toys increased by 200%
Walmart is offering free shipping and savings on Star Wars items. Furthermore, the retail giant is offering hundreds of stocking stuffers for less than $10.
Furthermore, the retail giant noted that the searches for Star Wars toys climbed 200% on Walmart.com.
Steve Breen, senior vice president of merchandising at Walmart.com, said they tripled their Star Wars toys assortment from the same period last year. According to him, “We’re stocked up on Star Wars merchandise and other top gifts in our stores and online because one of the biggest frustrations for last minute shoppers is not being able to find the gift they want.”
