Galaxy Note 5 New Case Renders Reveal Design [IMAGES]

Just a day after ITSKINS released case renderings of Samsung’s much-awaited Galaxy Note 5 phablet, smartphone accessories maker Verus has come out with its own Galaxy Note 5 case renderings. Phone Arena obtained images of the new cases from Verus, which they claim are based on the real renders of Note 5. Verus had accurately revealed the design elements of Galaxy S6 earlier this year.

Galaxy Note 5 design language resembles Galaxy S6

The case renders show that Galaxy Note 5 is quite similar to the Galaxy S6 in terms of design language. The Note 5 differs from S6 in the metal frame design. The upcoming phablet is slimmer on the side, and gets slightly thicker towards the top and bottom. The Korean electronics giant has moved one of the one of the microphones to the left of the speaker grill at the bottom.

The Galaxy Note 5 will have an auto-ejectable S Pen stylus. Other design elements such as cameras, heart rate sensor, button placement, and flash are identical to the Galaxy S6. Renders suggest that the Galaxy Note 5 will feature a 5.67-inch display. The device will be 7.9mm thick. Among other things, the Note 5 will feature 4GB RAM, an Exynos 7422 all-in-one processor, a 4,100mAh battery, and USB Type-C port.

Galaxy Note 5 to be launched next month

Samsung is set to release Galaxy S6 Edge+ with a dual-edge display alongside the Galaxy Note 5. The S6 Edge+ will reportedly feature a 3000mAh battery and Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. Unlike Note 5, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will cater to the mid-range buyers. It is believed to feature 16MP main camera with OIS and 5MP front camera.

Taiwanese website DigiTimes reported earlier this week that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ on August 12 in New York. The report claims both devices will be available for sale in major markets from August 14. However, another report from very reliable SamMobile, citing inside sources, claims that the devices will be announced on August 12, but will go for sale on August 21.
