Yamana Gold gained +11.44% this Tuesday and is up +13.99% over the past month. This is yet another Dalio gold pick – as of Q3, the billionaire holds 1.21 million AUY shares.

AuRico Gold Inc. surged +11.36% today. The George Soros stock has rallied +13.62% in the past three months and +27.69% over the last week.

Eclipse Resources Plunges

CHC Group tumbled -19.1% this Tuesday, bringing its five-day loss to -31.07%. A commercial helicopter operator, CHC Group has declined -76.22% over the past year. Thomas Steyer’s Farallon Capital initiated a position in the firm in the first quarter of 2014, and as of its latest public filing, the fund holds 1.18 million HELI shares.

Celladon Corp. dipped -12.12% on the heels of news that its VP, Ryan Takeya, sold 7,777 shares on January 2nd. Despite today’s fall, the biotech company, another Farallon Capital holding, has gained +69.19% over the past three months.

The share price of Eclipse Resources fell -11.88% today following Deutsche Bank’s price target cut on the stock from $11.00 to $10.00. Billionaire Leon Cooperman picked up 300,000 ECR shares in Q3 2014, and Richard Chilton 31,000. Given the company’s six-month decline of nearly -75%, it’s likely that both billionaires have posted losses on the investment.
