BlackBerry Ltd BES10 Now Available As Hosted Service

BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) announced that its BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 (BES10) is now available as a hosted service through third-party partners worldwide.

John Sims, president of enterprise services at BlackBerry Ltd. (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) explained that the BES10 is focused on providing more choices and flexibility to enterprise customers in managing their mobile environments.

He added that BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) and its hosting partners are working together to provide best-in-class managed services to customers that meet the needs of their businesses without compromising security, reliability and cost-efficiency.

Benefits of BES10 Hosted

The Canadian mobile communications company said BES10 provides the benefits of a trusted enterprise mobility management (EMM) and advance security capabilities with the convenience of hosted IT administration.

According to BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB), BES10 enables organizations to have a secure network while leveraging the expertise of its hosting partner to manage their IT environment. Its channel partners can manage and secure their devices powered by Android, BlackBerry and iOS to meet their diverse mobile requirements.

According to the Canadian mobile communications company, the BES10 hosted offers a multi-platform EMM offering with user self-service portal to easy authentication and device management; support from hosting partners backed by BlackBerry’s technical support; and container options for all supported devices.

BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) is offering native built-in for BlackBerry devices, Secure WorkSpace for iOS and Android devices. The company is also offering powerful application management capabilities and unified console to manage existing devices.

BlackBerry BES10 Hosted Partners

Some of the partners of BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) in offering BES10 as a hosted service include ISEC7 Group, Exchange My Mail and Solvitio GmbH.

In a statement, ISEC7 Group CEO Marco Gocht said his company offers a diverse portfolio of mobile enterprise managed services including a dedicated BES10 hosting, high-availability solutions and fully managed services with the flexibility of monthly subscriptions.

On the other hand, Steven Daneshgar, COO of Exchange My Mail said the company is Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) certified. According to him, the availability of BES10 Hosted allows them to offer robust solutions for BlackBerry and third-party devices.

According to Daneshgar, “From a security perspective, I’m pleased that our customers will have access to the only EMM solution that has achieved Full Operational Capability for Department of Defense Networks, by offering BES10 Hosted.”

Meanwhile, Joerg Baumann, CEO of Solvitio GmbH commented that his company will now be able to offer customers with flexible, cost-effective and easy to handle hosting businesses of all sizes with BES10 Hosted.
