Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Confirmed To Have 5.7-Inch QHD Display

First off, Indian import/export tracker Zauba added to its record that Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) recently shipped a test device to India. Zauba notes that the device has a 5.7-inch screen. The phablet bearing model number SM-N910A entered India only for the purpose of testing and evaluation. Model number SM-910A has been linked to the Galaxy Note 4 many times in the past. Moreover, the Galaxy Note 3’s model number is SM-N900. So, it stands to reason that SM-N910A will be the successor to Note 3. The “A” in the model number suggests that this version will be headed to AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T).

The resolution of Galaxy note 4 has been confirmed by none other than Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) itself. A user agent profile source code on Samsung’s website clearly states that the phablet will have a display resolution of 1,440 x 2,560, also known as 2K. Other reports suggest that the galaxy Note 4 will pack a 16-MP main camera with an Optical Image Stabilization. The front camera will remain the same at 2-MP as on the Galaxy S5.

Galaxy Note 4 to come in two versions?

Earlier reports claim that the Galaxy Note 4 will feature a 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 processor on devices sold in Korean, Chinese, Japanese and North American markets. The phablets sold in other regions including Europe will get an Exynos processor. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) is speculated to release the new phablet sometime this fall.

GSMArena says that the Galaxy Note 4 is likely to come in two versions. One of them would have a curved OLED display, while the other would sport a conventional flat screen. However, the curved display version will be available only in limited number of markets.
