Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s highly anticipated iPhone 6 was leaked again. This time, Sonny Dickson shared an image of the upcoming smartphone with a 4.7 inch version.
Exciting new changes for the iPhone
There have been numerous rumors in the last few months that Apple would release two different versions of the iPhone 6, including a larger model. The tech giant’s Android rivals Samsung and HTC already offer large phablet style phones, so it would only make sense for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) to join in on the competition with a larger version of their phone.
Sonny Dickson is a reliable blogger who has a track record of being correct. Just last year, he posted images of the iPhone 5S which turned out to be right on.
His recent images show “dummy” units. Although the phones in the pictures don’t show the Apple logo, the units are still said to be reference design utilized by the supply chain for mass production. Since these dummy handsets have been available in China for a while now, but it is still uncertain if these headsets are legit or not.
It is rumored the upcoming iPhone 6 will debut on September 19th and be launched shortly after that. Both models are predicted to feature TouchID, an improved iSight camera, higher resolution and an A8 chipset.
