With this Cydia tweak, you can light up your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch’s display with a simple double tap on the screen. If you want to directly head straight to the homescreen, and bypass the lock screen, then you’ll need to do a slide-up gesture.
Now, when you’re done using your device, and if you want to lock your device, then instead of pressing the physical lock key, you simply need to double tap on a vacant area on your device’s display.
If you’ve noted, then the power button on an iOS device many times malfunctions because of its repeated use. In some cases, it even stops working completely. But if you start using this tweak then it would mean that instead of using the physical power button, you can lock or unlock your iOS device with simple gesture which means the power button won’t die early compared to regular use.
