Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s highly anticipated iPhone 6 is not expected to make a debut until the late summer, but that doesn’t stop rumors and reports from surfacing. The latest report shows a purported phone case for the next big iPhone.
Apple iPhone 6 case
The latest report comes from Sonny Dickson’s blog. He got dibs on some of the phone’s new cases. Even though Dickson admitted that just anyone could make phone cases and claim the cases were made for the iPhone 6, but his source has a good track record. He even showed a video from Unbox Therapy, which offers a closer look at the phone case and what the upcoming iPhone 6 will look like.
iPhone 6 to feature thin body
It is possible the next Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) smartphone will feature a body as thin as the current iPod Touch. But it is also predicted the phone will feature a larger body and display. Earlier this month, BGR elaborated, “KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo passed along information gleaned from his always-reliable supply chain sources. In doing so, he may have taken all the mystery out of Apple’s upcoming next-generation iPhone launches later this year. Beginning with the main flagship iPhone 6 model, Kuo reports that it will indeed feature a new 4.7-inch display panel. In an earlier note, the analyst said that the new Retina panel will sport a resolution of 1,334 x 750 pixels, which works out to a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch.”
A larger iPhone is something many smartphone fans have wanted for quite some time now. The company’s main Android rivals already entered the phablet market and it has been a successful venture to date. If Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) was to release two versions of the iPhone 6 including a large phablet version, the company would cover both bases. This would be a great thing for Apple fans who want more choice.
