How To Find Out Who Was The First Person To Follow You On Twitter

Updated on

Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) turned eight last week, and with it, the company released a new tool that allowed users to view their first tweet. Using this tool, you can view anyone’s first tweet, and indeed it is interesting to view how insane, crazy or enthusiastic users were when they first joined Twitter.

Know who your first follower on Twitter was with this tool

Now a new tool called First Follow, from the folks over at Socialrank, is here, and this tool tells you who the first person to follow you on Twitter was. The tool is very simple to use, and you can view not just yours, but any user’s first Twitter follower in a jiffy.

So here’s how this tool works. Head over to the site and enter any @username in the field provided to find the first follower of that account. For example, if you want to find out the first follower of our official handle @valuewalk’s account, then simply enter “valuewalk” in there. On the next page, you’ll be able to know who was your first follower.

As you can see, in our case, @americanhedgie was the first to follow our Twitter account. Well, thanks for that!
