MWC: BlackBerry Ltd Announces Solutions, Partnerships, Smartphones

This morning, at Mobile World Congress, BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) announced new solutions, partnerships and smartphone models that will continue to reinforce the company’s focus on delivering technologies across the full mobile spectrum.

Today’s announcements are part of BlackBerry’s ongoing strategy to stabilize the company and restore customer confidence.  BlackBerry’s news demonstrates that the company is looking to the future and bringing solutions to market that matter most to its customers. Highlights from today’s announcements by BlackBerry include:

Enterprise: The next generation BlackBerry Enterprise Service (BES) platform, BES12; a new pricing model that will allow customers to deploy BES10 at no cost; and a new ecosystem of enterprise applications.

Customers: The latest companies to adopt BES10 unveiled, including Daimler AG and Airbus Group.

Devices: BlackBerry Z3 for the Indonesian market and BlackBerry Q20 with QWERTY keyboard, integrated trackpad and 3.5-inch touchscreen.

BBM: The eBBM Suite, a new family of products and services that work with BlackBerry® smartphones and the BlackBerry enterprise solutions. Announced yesterday, BBM for Windows Phone will be available this summer.
